There are several children wards in AWMCH located on the 1st floor of Momin Building with a total of 55 free beds. It is one of the best treatment centers for Primary Immuno-Deficiency (PID) in Bangladesh and children from all over Bangladesh come here to treat this disorder. There are also free/subsidized medication given to treat the children from underprivileged background. Children with Protein Energy Malnutrition (PEM) are given completely free treatment in the PEM Ward, including free food for the mother during stay and 6 months’ free treatment even after the patient has been released. There is a Zakat Ward with 4 free beds.
